This may be part of the problem - the Flash 9 install I downloaded from a post here on the forum does not put any .OCX file in that location.

I've tried a couple of other Flash 9 downloads from Adobe and they don't either. Hmm. Let me do some Googling.

Well, I'm back to where I started. The OLE error is gone but I'm still getting the old flash error. I've been following the instructions to the letter (that first post is the one I originally referenced), but using the Flash 9 install that was attached to the second finally fixed the OLE error. It s...

Okay - I found this: http://www.cinemaronlineforums.com/wiki/index.php?title=MAINLOBBY3_CLIENT_INSTALLATION_AND_SETUP It's basically an exact copy of the user's guide which is what I followed per the other post I linked with one exception - The link in the User's guide had me install the Shockwave p...

DVD Lobby TV Annoyance / Request

In the DVD Lobby TV interface, if you select a genre or "first letter" then click Left Arrow (which wraps around to the end of the list), the interface takes awhile to respond. (It looks like it is scrolling through the entire list behind the scenes caching all the thumbnails as it goes rather than ...

"Old Flash" Error - GRRRR!

I'm just about to chuck my HTPC out the window. After a week with wrestling around with DVD Lobby getting it all set up and finally up-to-date, I now can't run two different instances of MainLobby on my system. When I fire up the second session, I get the following error: "You have an Old Flash Plug...

But, instead of using the login route to populate what is playing, why can't the plugin just parse this webpage? http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/full-channel-listing.xmc It looks like that information is populated via a Java or Flash application so you can't just grab the information. (Look at the page...

I was having the same issue, but finally came a a solution I'm happy with. DVD Lobby will not scale images unless you either add them manually via the MLServer settings page or use the import feature. Here is what I did to get around that: The images you see in the DVDLobby3.mls are taken from the M...

Never mind - I wrote my own import tool using Beside Software's Import Wizard. I was able to dump the XML into Access tables then use a couple of queries to port the data over.

Is the version of DVD Lobby currently available from the login download page the "new" one that supports DVD Profiler 3? If not, where can I get it? My HTPC suffered a hard drive crash a few weeks ago and I'm using that as an excuse to rebuild my DVD database and upgrade all my MainLobby apps. I sho...

XMLobby Expired?

I'm running MLServer 3 and am having an XM issue. The plugin log says this: "Your 30 day evaluation period has expired. You have now used XMLobby Plug-In for MLServer for 61 days." However, if I right-click on the plug-in and select Registration, it tells me that registration is not supported by tha...

I use MainLobby with an MX-800. The DVDLobby TV version works really well, but MusicLobby and XMLobby took a little bit of tweaking to work.

In combination with UIRT and Girder, I can keep my "old school" style remote and still use all of the cool features of MainLobby.

I'm not sure - it does cancel out the ML screensaver for whatever that's worth. Since Girder mimics actual mouse moves and clicks, it might work. (I think they offer a shareware trial, so it won't cost you anything to give it a whirl.)

I use Girder to move the mouse in ML and it works really well. It's great for scenes that I use with my MX-800 hard-button remote. (I use the Channel Up/Down to switch maps in WeatherLobby and scroll the channel list in XMLobby. Since there are no keyboard shortcuts to do so, I just use the MoveMous...
