Deleting the Description (and leaving it empty) seemed to solve it. I am remote to the DTV boxes now, but will check thoroughly when I get home. There are still some occasional error lines in the attached log, but they may be related to a single box.
Dave, you might want to revise the Family Manager to make it clear that the "Description" column for DTV devices applies to Genie boxes only. That "Description" column pre-dated the new version of the driver, and the old versions of the driver worked fine when the column was populated with descriptive names.
