Jandy Driver - Autelis Support

Sat May 09, 2015 5:13 pm

Does anyone know if the existing driver works with the Autelis Pool Controller? I see that the driver supports communication via a global cache unit and a port can be specified.

http://www.autelis.com/pool-control-for ... odiac.html
http://www.autelis.com/wiki/index.php?t ... t_Firmware

Using the available serial firmware, it functions just like the Jandy serial interface but over ip. I have one installed and so far it seems a bit faster and less flaky than the Jandy interface.

Thanks

The commands shown on that wiki page are identical to the command set in the Jandy driver. It should work. If it doesn't i can make it work.

How is that controller defined in Family Manager? There is something in the address field. I'll need to see how it was defined.

Thanks, when I wrote the Jandy driver I was never expecting to talk to anything but a real serial port or a Global Cache device. So port 6000 was confusing it. I just modified the driver and it will accept port 6000 now. Give it a try. If you still have issues with it I will have to remote into your MLServer PC to properly debug the issue.

Same errors unfortunately. Delete & recreated the entry in Family manager a couple of times just to be sure. Telnet from the server to the controller works.

PM sent with login info.

Thanks!

Those devices should all talk with http get. I'm getting the one for pentair because it gives me access to everything. It should be the same format or close.

The driver has been updated to support the port this device uses.
