    Along the bottom are options for a DirecTV remote, TV Guide, Audio, Favorites & AppleTV. In addition you can touch the video camera on the left hand source options to get a live preview of what's playing on that source. Be sure to click around and try everything.

    In the large window select a player on the left. Then select an option layout on the right. Select available assets from the list provided. You can add a ticker of either a message or weather by checking the boxes. When you are finished making selections click “send to player”. Your choice will appear on the corresponding player above. To pause a video click the player once.

GlobalCache Driver

myServer 6 supports the GlobalCache line of control products.

The "GlobalCache" driver is deprecated.  Please use the new "GenericIR" driver instead.  This driver has full support of GlobalCache devices PLUS the new SmartRemote IR (and others)


Most common would be the "IP2IR" device that allows myServer 6 to send IR commands out the hardware's three IR emitter ports.

This driver supports over 200,000 IR devices!


The driver also support the iTach Flex hardware.  This hardware is configurable to read contact closures, voltage levels, or to trigger relays.

 

If you are controlling multiple cable boxes in your system (like for a sports bar):

For each of the cable boxes, document an ip address of the IP2IR and port. Ideally, these would be in sequential order where the lowest ip address – port 1 is for cable box 1, etc. So if the ip address for the first IP2IR is 192.168.10.10 (for example) then it would be:

 

Cable 1: 192.168.10.10 – port 1

Cable 2: 192.168.10.10 – port 2

Cable 3: 192.168.10.10 – port 3

Cable 4: 192.168.10.11 – port 1

Cable 5: 192.168.10.11 – port 2

Cable 6: 192.168.10.11 – port 3
