Small Venue Networking Service

 

 

Often, especially with smaller facility sports bar / restaurant / pizzeria installs, there is no IT / networking savvy person available that understands things like "reserved and static IP addresses", DHCP server, Dynamic DNS, Port Forwarding, VPN tunnel, etc.  This can make the installation difficult and time consuming.

With that, Allonis has created a program to assist with these types of small installations.  Allonis provides an inexpensive consumer grade Wifi router that is pre-programmed by Allonis for the needs of the Control System.  This is simply connected to the facilities existing Internet accessible network (one port).  Allonis will then have access to the router to manage the Control System and tweek the settings for the needs of the particular project.

The wifi router then allows an "iPad" to control the system from a close physical distance to the router.  Each project also requires an appropriate sized unmanaged network switch, or a speciality Video network switch for Video over IP systems (available from Allonis as well).

Pricing starts at $250 for each small project (under 10 DirecTV receivers and under 25 IP TVs as a gauge of "small").  That includes up to two hours of networking labor.  All hours beyond that are billed at a discounted $125/hr thereafter.

Allonis recommends that for projects larger than that, a local professional networking expert is employed to manage the networking.
