Ensure your projector is enabled to IP control within it's setup menu. 

Projector supports a choice of protocols:

• SDAP (Simple Dislay Advertisement Protocol)
• ADCP (Advanced Display Control Protocol - Sony)
• PJ Link
• DDDP ( Dynamic Device Discovery - AMX)
• DDP (Simple Device Discovery Protocol - Control 4)
• CIP (Crestron Internet Protocol - Crestron)

 

Device type should be "Projector".
