Short press no longer working

This is a weird one. Last night when I took the remote off of the cradle it was on the remote configuration screen. I launched the app and short pressing any button no longer does anything, yet long presses still work. So I turned on another remote that was powered off and booted it up and it does the same thing. I grabbed another remote from another room and that one works fine. I suspect that if I reboot it it'll be the same behavior.

I checked in myDesigner and all my button assignments are still there. I tried reassigning a command and no luck. Nothing seems amiss in myServer either. I'v rebooted the problematic remotes, cleared the cache on them, and rebooted myServer. No luck.

I haven't made any changes to my configuration recently and everything had been working fine. The only thing that I can think of is I installed the latest Linux OS updates yesterday morning before I headed out for the day but I didn't try any of the remotes at the time.

Anyone else having any issues? Any ideas on what I might be missing or things I can do to troubleshoot? I'm completely stumped.

Try restarting and clearing cache.

I've tried rebooting the server several times. I've also cleared the cache on the problematic remotes and rebooted. I tried rebooting one of the remotes that still functioned and after rebooting and clearing the cache now that remote no longer sends short presses as well. I still have one remote working as intended.

I've watched the logs and it doesn't seem like myServer is even receiving any commands when I short press a button. I'm completely lost.

Go back to the standard out of the box smartremote template.
Clear cache. See if that fixes things.
ensure you are using the latest javascript (use latest myDesigner to update it).

Ah it was something with javascript. Pointing the remote at the default template worked so I overwrote the js folder in my project with the folder from the default template, cleared the cache, rebooted again, and now I'm back in business. No idea what happened to the javascript folder since I never touch anything in there but I'll take it!

You should be updating the javascript with each myDesigner update posted.
The javascript needs to work hand in hand with myServer.
