I can see that the CLI has more commands than are currently in the myserver driver. Are you able to add some of these extra ones in? In particular I would love to be able to have the 'play station' command [4.4.7 of the Denon document] and 'play preset station' [4.4.8 of the Denon document] - the aim is to assign preset radio stations to the function keys.

This would significantly increase functionality.

Nearly all of the drivers support a Test command where you can send any protocol command you'd like. It is not always exposed in the command builder because it is really meant for testing. But nothing is stopping its everyday use. AV|<id>~Test~<ANY VALID COMMAND>. Give it a test as I know the Denon driver supports it. I'm trying to catch up with driver updates and releases.

I managed to solve this by looking at the logs when messing around in the command tester

The command I was looking for was 'SelectItem'

AV|XX~SelectItem~Y

Where XX is the Heos device number and Y is the favorite number (starting from '0').

Despite my early excitement, this doesn't work - 'SelectItem' is used to select an item from a list - not to select a Favorite.

I've tried using the test command with a number of formulations but still cannot get this to work.

Per the API document I linked to above, there is a command which they call 'Play Preset Station' (at 4.4.8 of the documentation) which can be used to select a Heos favorite by number. I would really like to be able to do this - so I can assign favorites to hard and soft buttons.

If this command could be added to the Heos driver, that would be amazing.

eg

AV|[HEOS]~playpreset~[NUMBER]

Have you used the out of the box user interfaces with HEOS? I use my HEOS daily. Works great. So, what are you trying to do?
