Severe command lag with Marantz Driver

I have been experiencing severe lag in the commands for my Marantz receiver that is making the driver unusable. When sending a command it generally takes about 7-8 seconds for it to fire and sometimes much longer than that . Yesterday, it started working fine but this morning it is back to having significant lag between commands. The first command generally fires fine but any subsequent commands are delayed which makes for real fun when trying to adjust the volume.  I have the Unfolded Circle Remote Two and it doesn't exhibit this behavior. Are there any known bugs with this driver?

What's in the Event Log? Have you tried executing commands directly from Command Builder to test? Post your command and the log.
