MyDesigner bug with button icons

If you are saying you go to the "Software Updater" and nothing shows, then that means your myServer controller has no access to the Internet. Check your network configuration.

If you are saying you go to the Drivers list and nothing shows up...that's because you didn't add any from the Software updater.

Very important to follow the now available (but still DRAFT) documentation step by step.

 

In the button label formatting section when you add an icon mydesigner doesn't respect the vertical offset value. You can use the vertical offset option to move the icon up and down in the button, but when you save the button it moves the icon back to center even though it saves the vertical offset value I entered. Is this something that can be easily fixed?

That will happen while the button is in edit mode. When you save the offset will revert to 0 but if you refresh the page the offset should come back. This is because the button needs a full rebuild. Can you confirm that the offset is maintained after a page refresh? It's an annoyance I've been meaning to fix for a while. It will get done.

Refreshing the page doesn't re-implement the offset. The modified offset value is still stored in the button properties but the icon itself remains centered.

Some further info: The vertical offset is maintained when just adding a static icon to a button. The problem arises when you are using button states to toggle between different icons. When doing this the icon will always revert to the center of the button regardless of the vertical offset. I found this because I'm trying to have the button switch between two different power plug icons to differentiate the on/off state of some zwave plugs I've incorporated.
