Hard buttons locked?

When I click on a hard button in myDesigner to open up commands its as though the button is locked. I cant see any obvious settings and was just wondering if any of you has had the same problem and been able to fix it?

I get the occasional hiccup where when I try to edit the buttons on a page(scene or overlay) it won't open the editing pop-up, if I open another page that one will work correctly.. no rhyme or reason to which pages work and which don't. Closing mydesigner and reopening it seems to sort it out though.

Mine just refuses to open the popup box. In particular I'm trying to add macros to the F keys in the index, cabletv and shieldtv html files. Oddly the shieldtv file works. I've just randomly tried it with 10 files I'm not using and 8 didn't work but 2 did. Closing myDesigner down doesn't make it work again for me unfortunately

As a workaround can you edit the buttons in the "scene properties" window? That's the picture just to the left of the "copy objects"

Good shout. It's a bit tricky as you can only see a small amount of text at a time.
I'm feeling a bit disillusioned with it at the minute. Every time I touch it there's an issue and I know most of that is down to me and we knew what we were getting into but I'm close to putting it in a box for a few months and forgetting about it

Create your extensive macro. Name your macro. Save it. Then, invoke the macro {{macroname}} from within myDesigner's button configuration entry form.
What OS is myDesigner running on? Win 10 / 11?
Send us an email with your myDesigner TeamViewer Host ID / password and we will check it.
