Double/Single Tapping for Screen Buttons

It would be great to have the ability to set an action on a screen button for a single tap and a double tap (same concept as short and long press).  This could also help with accidental hits on the button.  My primary use case would be to implement this on the main page where the devices are listed.  Press it once, and it drops you into the device, Tap it twice and it starts the macro that switches over and starts using that device.  

We have given that some thought in the past. For something that sounds simple it is a big change to the client and designer code. Higher priorities at the moment. But not lost.
