Make sure the GC is on the same subnet as myServer.  I think the GC uses UDP packets which does not span subnets.

Both GC-100s one on a separate network and one on the same subnet (using my second myserver) exhibit the same behavior.

This is from the Log on the backup server (GC-100 on same subnet)

I fixed the issue.... I purchased a Global Cache GC5/NE/3SL/IR device (and pulled the GC-100) and it's working perfectly. One nice thing about the unit is that it gives a separate network address for the 3 serial ports and for the IR module (3 ports).

I now have plenty of spare ports and no drops!!!
