Disabled devices just get re-created was created by bowlingbeeg
I was able to connect the home assistant gateway to my HA system and it populated all of the devices correctly.  But once I disable one of the devices it will immediately get re-created.  Can someone from Allonis look into when they get a chance.  Thanks.

Known issue. Please wait until tomorrow until I release the new version and documentation.

Please delete all devices including the home assistant host until then.

I also noticed strange rooms being added like (174355...). I probably have entities that don't have rooms associated with them but it would be nice if those just got dumped into "Unknown" or something.

myServer tries to automatically figure out what Device is what kind of device in myServer's venacular (ie: Lighting / climate / security / control / AV etc).
And then there is the issue of licensing.  I am hoping the default import of devices is Disabled (doesn't hit the licensing provision) that you then manually add real devices you want to use via myServer.  We are also going to make the HAGateway UI a little easier to bulk add devices you have selected by group.
But, HomeAssistant (and the myriad of 3rd party developers) doesn't follow strict rules so it's difficult to do this easily.  We are also not expert with HomeAssistant yet either.  So feel free to bring us up to speed!

Yeah, that would be helpful, I've got a handful of HA entities that will be useful in myServer, but I've got a ton of entities that come from my solar system that are currently occupying licenses that aren't.  I'm going to dig back into this with the new update.

One other thing I noticed, myServer seemed to find a lot of things, but none of my switches (some of which control lights) seemed to get pulled in.  Maybe I can change the type of those in HA.

We'll have an updated Home Assistant driver ready today. It will also have updated documentation and a YouTube video.

All of our drivers that import configurations from external systems will automatically create rooms based upon the room names defined in the data being imported. This is most applicable in our lighting and security drivers. I will disable this feature in the HAGateway by default but also allow an option to turn it on when you know you have good rooms.

Also everything imported from Home Assistant will be disabled by default. You can then pick and choose what to enable. More details on that when I push the update.

Finally, we were only able to test Home Assistant integration on a handful of systems. I will be adding an option to send your HA device and entity config files to us so I can try importing them here to see where I can improve the parsing algorithm. This will be optional and will not be done automatically.
