Zigbee dongle support? was created by andrew
I feel I'm going mad. I'm sure there used to be some documentation somewhere about how to use a Zigbee dongle with myserver 6. But I can't find anything now either on the documentation site or here in the forum. Was the answer always just install a zigbee-to-mqtt bridge (or home assistant) separately and then myserver deals with mqtt messages, or does myserver support zigbee natively as I thought it did?

I don't remember ever seeing any real documentation on how to implement Zigbee. The Zigbee page just says that it supports thousands of devices and that they need to be configured as lights in myServer. Are you sure that you hadn't been previously looking at the documentation for ZWave? That definitely supports a dongle.

In case anyone else is interested I've managed to find the snippet of Zigbee information that I thought I'd seen. It's at  allonis.com/support/documentation?view=c...led%20but%20disabled and it does indeed say that Zigbee is supported through a zigbee2mqtt gateway. This is provided in the myserver image as a docker compose file that lets you easily get zigbee2mqtt up on your myserver box itself. The documentation page is slightly out of date - the docker file and readme are now under /home/allonis/applications/zigbee.

There is no driver available for Zigbee today. It is on the list of projects we would like to get to.
