Just wondering what different kinds of screens come with the templates? To make searching for programmes on our Sky+ box easier I'd like something like the following, where each button triggers a macro to send the appropriate number of key presses for the letter (e.g. "hello" is 2, 2, pause, 3, 3, pause, 5, 5, 5, pause, 5, 5, 5, pause, 6, 6, 6). I know I'll be able to build this myself but I'm sure a professionally designed one would look nicer...

there will be many user interface webpages you can use directly or copy / paste from into your own.
Also, don't forget the SmartRemote has a NUM hard button to switch the transport buttons into being direct numeric channel entry. The hard buttons are also configured in myDesigner application.

Because I'm me I always try to run before I can walk with a new system. So I've got a proof of concept of my alpha keyboard working in myDesigner. It would be improved if it didn't have the long pause between typing letters if it wasn't necessary e.g. if you go from an 'a' to a 'd' you don't need to have the long wait. I expect I could do that by setting a server variable remembering which letter group you are in ('abc', 'def' etc.) and only having the long pause if your next letter is in the same group. But that's for the future. I'm just pleased I got this working.
