Mostly the same packages but I think the Ubuntu repo has more ?? Than the debian repo. Definitely more up to date packages in the Ubuntu repo. 
 

That was the latest release at the time.  Not sure what a dist-upgrade is.  Still fairly new to linux.

With excellent timing my Pi based myServer just crashed again overnight. Luckily I got my new VM based one far enough last night that I'd moved my automations and scheduled tasks to it. So we still got woken up by lights and radio coming on this morning. Success! I think that's the death knell for the Pi one - I'll probably keep it as a properly licensed spare to try things out on before committing them to the live system.
