ADB closed: This means there is no ADB connection between myServer and the SmartRemote.
See the step that says "Advanced: from a terminal window, type: adb devices. the smartremote IP and port 55055 should show up. If not, then there was no connection to the Smartremote. So, does the smartremote display show the Android desktop? Do you see the smartremote icon? if you succesfully did the ForcedRemove, it should be gone.

Yep - the SmartRemote ip address does show up when issuing the adb devices command and also correctly lists 55055 as the port.

On the SmartRemote itself, I do have the Android desktop and there is no smartremote icon. Seems like I did successfully complete ForcedRemove.

At this point, should I just try step 7 again (Install from the AndroidTV driver command list)?

On the device, the battery is exhausted and shut down. The exhaustion of power here is a "logical exhaustion". When the system detects that the battery power is low and insufficient to support the operation of the device, the system will automatically shut down. At this time, the battery still has a voltage of about 3V, which is a necessary mechanism to ensure that the battery can be recharged repeatedly.

The assumption is you have the very latest myServer and AndroidTV driver first.

I can verify I have the latest myServer and AndroidTV driver installed.

I attempted the install again using the command below:
AV|68~Install~smartremote.apk

It has been about 10 minutes but no smartremote app icon has appeared on the SmartRemote yet.  Should it take this long?  In monitoring the systemevents viewer, I see the command sent like last time (AndroidTV / doCommand / Cmd=[68~install~smartremote.apk] Client=[dashboard-fx-n7dd]).  Unlike last time, I did not see any error or ADB:closed messages.

Still, no icon though.. Should I try restarting the SmartRemote?  Alternatively, should I go back and do the ForceUninstall command again?

I rebooted the SmartRemote and tried issuing the command again.  This time, I got a pop-up on the SmartRemote asking to "always send / send this time / do not send."  I chose always send and then saw an error pop up in the myServer log

"28/06/2024 21:24:52.24 · ERROR · AndroidTV.doCommand - Error in MoveNext - Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_ALREADY_EXISTS: Attempt to re-install com.allonis.smartremote without first uninstalling.]"

Although I don't have the icon on the SmartRemote, it seems like there's still something on the system from one of the prior attempts.  I think I need to uninstall again before trying a fresh install.  The question is, do I use the ForceUninstall command again or should I just use the regular uninstall?
