Well, I'll be darned...I opened a production box and the buttons are backlit during OS launch....lets see what we can do with that post the immediate use issues that are being fixed.

When the OEM equipment manufacturer adds an easter egg and doesn't let the customer know

Well confirmed it was a very late add to the hardware (and something that was spec'd very early on).  So now we have to figure out how to control the behavior.

Per the post above, is there an update to activate the backlit keys and if so, where can we find the official instructions for updating / acquiring this feature?  Our room is pitch black so this is mission critical.
